Carl Cox comes to Shake It! 0

Written by: Chris 11 Mar, 2010

World renowned and busy-than-ever Carl Cox is the very special guest for Layo & Bushwacka’s Easter Thursday SHAKE IT party taking place at The Warehouse SE1, London, this Easter.

This is quite a rare London appearance from Cox, who, always touring the globe, hasn’t played a London warehouse party in a long long time, especially in a space as intimate as the Warehouse. A professional DJ since his early teens, a veteran of Acid House and a champion of Techno, Carl emits a love of his work that is dangerously infectious. You name it, Carl’s been there and done it, but he’s never lost the point of it: playing music, breaking tunes, spreading love, celebrating life.

This night will be even more exciting as it’ll be Carls’ first London appearance in 2010 so expect some very special music Carl has picked up on his travels over the last year, perfect for the London Warehouse setting...as well as of course, an anticipated set from the driving force behind the bi-monthly SHAKE IT parties - Layo & Bushwacka!

“To be able to host one of the worlds top DJs, not only for today but also for the past twenty years, is an absolute honour for us at Shake It. This very special party will also be the last at the fantastic warehouse space at the Arches in Great Suffolk Street. Carl Cox is a legend, no other way to describe him, fast, furious, larger than life and to have him at this intimate space playing on the newest Funktion 1 system available to mankind is a dream come true.” – Layo & Bushwacka!

Tickets will go live on Monday February 15 at noon, the earlybird will be priced at £10 and thereafter at £15.
