Adana Twins – Everyday EP on Exploited
Based in Hamburg but taking their hot house sounds to clubs across Europe, Adana Twins are a fast rising duo. This, the latest release on Exploited, is already one of the most charted tracks on various online sites and it’s easy to see why. The title track, ‘Everyday’, is a p-funk laced house tune that swaggers like Soul Clap with breezy male vocals, musical synth arrangements and plenty of party starting bass stabs. It’s warm and muted in colour, is thoroughly modern sounding and will surely prove to be a big summer anthem.
‘Strange Master’ is even more sultry and soupy, with lingering piano notes drifting between simple hand claps, a melancholic male vocal and plenty of underlapping house beats and bass. It builds slowly but when it breaks, there’s no way you’ll be able to resist nodding your head.
