Camiel Daamen – Lost In Love

Edu Imbernon’s Eklektisch label unearths another great talent here in the form of Camiel Daamen, a Dutchman that has previously released on Flash, Peikup and Klopfgeist. Here we find him in fine melodic form with Lost In Love.
The track is a bright and summer affair, where summertime melodies stream across the face of loose house beats. The addition of some piano lines and xylophones add plenty of colour and the result is an infectious and heartfelt track. The Los Suruba remix is a different beast that favours eerie and mysterious vibes. Complete with a rather large bassline that will not fail to move you, the dense percussion is also highly infectious.
Finally, the Nacho Marco remix shows his love of classic Chicago house with a smoky remix that features plenty of analogue sounds from snares to claps. A slinky groove, then, to close out a tidy package.
